How to choose solar street light:

1. Light pole height selection:

The height of the light pole is generally selected according to the width of the road, and the height of the light pole that is the same as the road width or slightly larger than the road width is the best.


a. For general single-lane rural roads, choose a light pole of 3-4 meters;

b. Double-lane rural roads choose 5-7 meter light poles;

c. Choose a light pole of 8-12 meters for four lanes or main roads;

d. The lighting of the courtyard or other scenes is selected according to the lighting range.


2. LED lamp wattage selection:

The street lamp wattage should be determined according to the purpose of the street lamp, the height of the pole, and the lumen value of the LED street lamp.


Generally, roads and scenes with fewer pedestrians can choose LED street lamp heads with slightly lower wattage, and roads and scenes with more pedestrian traffic can choose LED street lamp heads with slightly higher wattage.

3. Diagonal flange size and ground cage diagonal size selection:

In general, the higher the height of the solar street lamp pole, the larger the diagonal size of the flange and the cage, and the higher the cage height.


a. For 3-4m lamp pole, choose the diagonal dimension of flange and the diagonal dimension of ground cage 240mm;

b. 5-7 meter lamp poles choose the diagonal size of the flange and the diagonal size of the ground cage 260mm;

c. For the 8-12 meter lamp pole, choose the diagonal dimension of the flange and the diagonal dimension of the cage 280mm.


4. Light pole thickness selection:

The thicker the pole, the stronger the load bearing capacity and wind resistance.

a. The thickness of 3-4 meters lamp post is generally 1.5-2.5mm;

b. The thickness of the 5-7 meter lamp post is generally 2.5-2.75mm;

c. The thickness of the 8-12 meter lamp post is generally 2.75-3.5mm.
